ANDRONAS CONSERVATION ARCHITECTURE aims to respond imaginatively to every issue by creating practical and beautiful solutions. Our approach begins with understanding the nature and history of the place and the needs of our clients. We seek to explore the particularities of the place to ensure that our proposals and interventions enhance and make a positive contribution to its cultural significance.

We pride ourselves on our understanding of historic buildings, and the options available for conservation and adaptation. Our practice has developed significant expertise in the preparation of reports such as Conservation management plans, Heritage impact statements, Condition studies, Risk Assessments and Documentation for the execution of the Conservation Works.

ANDRONAS CONSERVATION ARCHITECTURE has an excellent reputation in the re-ordering of places of worship, particularly those of the Roman Catholic and Anglican traditions, and has been involved in the construction, restoration and alteration of more than forty churches in Australia and overseas.

ANDRONAS CONSERVATION ARCHITECTURE have undertaken many significant conservation projects ranging from small works through to some of Australia’s most significant places: from the design of candle sticks, to the conservation of the fabric of St Pauls Cathedral, Melbourne and Newman College, University of Melbourne.

We aim to make a real contribution to the life of our clients by understanding their culture and incorporating into their existing or new environment, the ideas which underpin their culture.

ANDRONAS CONSERVATION ARCHITECTURE helps custodians manage their historic properties.
